I have taken two groups (about 40 students) to Alki Beach to look at the Blakely Formation and the Olympia Beds and I'll take the final two groups Monday and Tuesday (Yes, I'm sure it's going to be very cold). We have not been able to see the Olympia Beds either Thursday or Friday because we were just a little too late with the tides. I'm hoping for better luck on Monday and Tuesday. All in all though, it seem to go very well for the first year. I'm hoping to make it an annual event.
