Sunday's Field Trip

Hi All--

It's finally upon us.  Many days have passed since our time together, and now we have students and we're busy as hell.  I'm glad we'll get to hang out this Sunday.  This is my initial proposal, and it's open for modification.  Since we established our focus as the Seattle fault, I think we'd best spend our time in West Seattle and Bainbridge.  There is some interesting geology to be seen in both places, and I hope just being together and seeing what's there will stimulate some conversation and ideas.  My thoughts are to meet near the Seattle terminal of the Seattle Bainbridge Ferry around 11 a.m.  The two Bainbridge folks can catch the 10:25. I have room for 3-4, so I can pick up Cathy and Scott if the rest can car pool together.  We can see some interesting geological outcroppings and have lunch, and then move over to Bainbridge on either the 1:10 or 2:05. the idea is that no one has to drive on the ferry, and we can use each other's vehicles for the short drives.  I've attached some resources if you have time to peruse.
